Postdoctoral Fellow Position for transdisciplinary research on equine fungal keratitis as part of the Tri-Institutional Molecular Mycology and Pathogenesis Training Program

The Center for Integrated Fungal Research and College of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University are seeking interested individuals to apply for a postdoctoral fellow position to conduct transdisciplinary research on equine fungal keratitis with colleagues at Duke University as part of the Tri-Institutional Molecular Mycology and Pathogenesis Training Program (https://mmptp.mgm.duke.edu). Research will focus on examining equine keratitis fungal species diversity, conducting in vitro MIC testing, and evaluating an ex-vivo corneal cell model to predict the relative efficacy of antifungal therapeutic agents for managing equine keratitis disease. Applicants must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Ph.D. in Veterinary Science or equivalent degree. Research experience with animals and microorganisms is preferred.
